DR. TOM RUDELIUS

Tom Rudelius is a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical physics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on string theory, early universe cosmology, and quantum field theory. Prior to his time at Berkeley, Tom was a postdoctoral researcher at The Institute for Advanced Studies (Princeton). He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, and statistical science from Cornell University.

 

Dr. Brandon Eidson

Brandon is Co-founder of First Step Analytics. He has worked as a technical consultant, visiting professor, and entrepreneur. He holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Auburn University and a Certificate in Theological Studies from Oxford University. He loves to think about many of the big questions about life, God, and philosophy. He is married to his wonderful wife, Claire, and lives in the Boston area.

 

DR. REBECCA MCLAUGHLIN

Rebecca grew up in the UK and holds a Ph.D. in English literature from Cambridge and a theology degree from Oak Hill College in London. In September 2017, she co-founded Vocable Communications.   Vocable is a speech-focused, data-driven communications firm dedicated to helping leaders deliver messages that change minds. She is the author of several books. Recently she wrote Confronting Christianity: 12 Hard Questions for the World's Largest Religion, that was on the 2019 TED summer reading list, and was named 2019 Book of the Year by Christianity Today. She lives in Cambridge and is married and has two daughters and a son.   

 

DR. RON SANDERS

Ron is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in Christian Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary. His research is focused on the intersection of Christianity and American public policy. He is the author of After the Election: Prophetic Politics in a Post-Secular Age and a contributing author to Justice and the Way of Jesus: Christian Ethics and the Incarnational Discipleship of Glen Stassen. Ron teaches courses on Christian ethics, faith and politics, and biblical and practical peacemaking. He holds a Ph.D. in Theology and Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary, an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Biola University (Talbot School of Theology) and a B.S in Mathematics from Montana State University.

 

DR. BRANDON UNRUH, M.D.

Brandon is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and and McLean Hospital.  His career in psychiatry and psychotherapy was sparked by an interest in the intersection between existential questions posed by literature, philosophy, religion, and the struggles of individuals grappling with psychological distress and psychiatric symptoms.  His clinical work specializes in integrating evidence-based treatments of personality disorders, suicidality, and self-harm.  At McLean Hospital, he is the director of an insurance-based outpatient program for personality disorders and assistant medical director of a highly specialized residential program for individuals with severe personality disorders.  He is also dedicated to teaching and disseminating effective treatments to improve public health access.  He has published on a variety of topics including borderline and narcissistic personality disorders, suicide, medical ethics, general psychiatry, psychiatric training curricula, and literature and medicine.  Across his clinical work, academic writing, and speaking engagements, he seeks to integrate scientifically informed psychiatric and psychological perspectives with a spiritual worldview.
